Biography

Abdelghani Belgaid is a Research Engineer at the College of Computing, Mohammed VI Polytechnic University, where he develops data and AI applications to address real-world challenges. His work spans agriculture, biology, mining, manufacturing, banking, national security, and other sectors, consistently delivering measurable impact. His mission is to help build the innovation nation and prepare the next generation to carry it forward.

Previously active in global data science competitions, Abdelghani earned multiple silver and bronze medals, and his research has been published in leading machine learning venues. He is also an active community builder, contributing to MoroccoAI, Moroccan AI Research (MAIR), Open Software Community, and other collaborative initiatives that foster open science, technological advancement, and inspire the next generation.

Abdelghani holds a master's degree in Applied Data Science and Artificial Intelligence at Mohammed VI Polytechnic University and is pursuing a master's Degree in Quantum Computing Technology at the Technical University of Madrid. He also holds a Diploma in Financial Management and Management Accounting from the Abdelmalek Essaâdi University.
